Apologies that my art has been so sporadic as late.
I'm trying to get back to drawing, but unfortunately my wrist has flared up again so drawing is very painful and difficult to keep up with. I'm trying to ease myself back into it, but please be patient in the meantime and hopefully will have more to show down the line

I'm still around.
Long story short, I'm not well, and I don't know what's wrong. I was previously diagnosed with fibromyalgia but my condition has since progressed and blood tests show pain markers far in excess to what can be dismissed as fibro. Most of my body is causing me extreme amounts of pain pretty much constantly, whether I'm standing, sitting or (attempting) to walk. I have tried several different painkillers, and none of them even touch the pain slightly. Main affected areas are my shoulders, knees, hips, upper arms and, unfortunately, my right wrist, which has meant that I can't do drawing at this time (along with pretty much all of my other hobbies). It has improved over the last six months but the pain does become excessive after a few minutes of writing. I'd like to tentatively try drawing again but not at this point.
I'm still going to work full-time and most people in my workplace are thankfully really understanding of whatever this is that I have, although I do seem to be deteriorating further as each day passes, resulting in having to call the ambulance service last night.
Lots of tests and scans are being done to see if they can figure out what is actually going on and I would like to think that once they have that much sussed, I might be able to start building up some semblance of a life again. In the meantime, I have been applying for any and all disability support I can hopefully be seen as eligible for.
So yeah, I'm still around, probably a bit more active online than I was purely because I can't do much else, and if I can get back to some of my favourite pastimes down the line, I'll be happy.
